Max: Luka had a great game last night. LeBron didn't play. Luka and Reeves
beat the Wolves, who didn't play well, but T-Wolves have a hellified starting
five. That's a really nice starting five. And the Lakers beat them handily.
And Luka had a great game. This is the question, Rich, because I know there's
chatter. They play better with that. You know, the stats say they're not a
good offensive team with LeBron when you add him to those guys, and they're a
very good offensive team. Let's assume for a second that LeBron is going to
make them better when they're all playing together in the playoffs, okay?
Have we written off the Lakers too soon as contenders, as real contenders?
Did we write them off too soon? My assumption is, especially in the playoffs,
LeBron elevates whatever they can do. Have we written them off too soon?
Luka 昨晚打得超好。LeBron 沒上。Luka 跟 Reaves 聯手擊敗了灰狼，雖然灰狼那場本
身打得不怎麼樣，但灰狼的先發五人真的很有料，是一組非常不錯的先發陣容。結果湖人
還是贏得算蠻輕鬆的，而且 Luka 打了一場很棒的比賽。問題就在這裡，Rich，
因為我知道外面已經開始有人在講了：湖人是不是沒有 LeBron 反而打得更好？
你知道，數據上看起來，當 LeBron 跟這幾個人一起打時，他們的進攻其實不算好；
但沒有他時，他們反而是一支非常強的進攻球隊。
那我們先假設一件事: 到了季後賽，只要3個人一起打，LBJ還是會讓球隊變更好，好嗎？
那問題是，我們是不是太早把湖人從爭冠行列裡劃掉了？我們是不是太早不把他們當成真
正的爭冠隊了？我的預設是，尤其到了季後賽，LeBron 會把球隊原本能做的事情再往上
拉一個層級。所以我們是不是太早看衰湖人了
Rich: I was at the game last night. I thought the Lakers played a really good
game. I thought the Timberwolves was a little flat, though, to start. I
thought both teams was flat to start. But they strung along a couple of good
games there to win, you know. Look, I think anytime you have great talent,
you always have a puncher's chance. It's all about matchups in the playoffs.
It really is. You can get rolling. If everybody can get rolling, I thought
some of the road guys have been playing extremely well. So we'll see.

Max: You know what I got to say about what I think happened one this year? JJ
did such a great job coaching early when he never had his crew together that
I think they may have gotten a little used to playing a certain way in order
to win games without all three of them. Remember, they were winning with just
Luka, with just Reeves, with just LeBron. They were 2 of those guys. And they
hadn't had enough reps figuring out how to do that winning formula with all
three of them, right, because they've relied heavily on one or two of them
early in the season. And then, I'm still sitting here with that quote from
Deandre Ayton in my head.
“They want me to beat Clint Capella" Like, if you, none of that's gonna
work. This is a team without a big. If, you know, Jackson Hayes plays hard,
he wasn't playing last night. But if Deandre Ayton is not gonna star in his
role, as you say, Lakers aren't gonna do anything in the playoffs. But if he
has a coming to God moment, right, like where he's understanding that actually
he will amplify his value by starring in his role,the Lakers might do a little
something. They're not gonna get out of the West, but they could play spoiler.
你知道我怎麼看今年這支球隊嗎？我覺得 JJ 一開始執教真的做得太好了，因為他在陣容
一直湊不齊的情況下，還是把球隊帶得很好。結果反而讓這支球隊有點習慣了某一種贏球
方式，那種在三巨頭沒有一起上時的贏球模式。
你想想看，他們之前靠 Luka 贏過球、靠 Reaves 贏過球、靠 LeBron 也贏過球。
甚至很多時候是三個裡面只靠其中兩個。問題是，他們一直沒有足夠的實戰回合去摸索：
三個人同時在場時，到底要怎麼維持那套贏球公式。
因為球季前段，他們其實很依賴其中一個人，或兩個人去撐嘛。然後，我到現在腦中還一
直記得 Deandre Ayton 那句話。「他們要我去打爆 Clint Capela。」
如果是這種心態，那整套都不會成功。因為這是一支沒有真正大個子的球隊。
Jackson Hayes 很拚，昨晚他沒打。但如果 Deandre Ayton 沒辦法在自己的角色裡打出
明星價值，像你剛剛講的，那湖人在季後賽什麼事都做不了。
可如果他突然有一天想通了，真的頓悟了，理解到其實只要他能把自己的角色演好、而且
演到極致，他反而會讓自己的價值被放大，那湖人也許還是能搞出一點事情。
他們應該是衝不出西區啦，但他們有可能當攪局者。
Rich: I think the goal is going to the playoffs. You want to be whole, you
want to be healthy.
我覺得目標就是先進季後賽。你會希望到那時候全員到齊，而且健康。
