Ty Lue gave credit to the entire Clippers organization last night for this his
toric turnaround:

“I’m just proud of our whole coaching staff and our players. It’s not just
me. I try to set the mood, I try to set the environment to make sure everyone
is comfortable, everyone is enjoying it.
When you’re 6-21 it’s kinda hard to enjoy it. But our guys were still in it.
Zu, James, Kawhi went to another level. We never gave in. KD, DJ getting heal
thy, JC playing better. It was all the guys in the locker room. It wasn’t jus
t me. It was our coaching staff. They’ve been great all season long to hang i
n. And we’re not done yet. But we have had a long climb and we still have 17
games to go.
I’m very proud of our group. I’m very proud of our coaching staff. And I’m
very proud of the front office. Some of the moves they made. People talked abo
ut it was kinda crazy. But just staying the course. Most teams if guys start
6-21 it could have been some instant change. But L-Frank, Trent, Mark, Mr. Bal
lmer, just stayed the course to have full belief in our staff. And we just kep
t plugging away. So here we are now. We gotta continue to keep playing well,
but we’re going in the right direction.”

這不只是我一個人的功勞，而是整個教練團隊的努力。
他們整個賽季都表現得非常出色，一直堅持到現在。而且我們還沒有完成目標。我們確實
走過了一段很長的路，但還有 17 場比賽要打。
我為我們的團隊感到非常驕傲，也為教練團隊感到非常驕傲，同時也為管理層感到驕傲。
他們做出了一些改變，當時很多人都覺得有點瘋狂。但球隊始終保持方向、堅持下去。很
多球隊如果開季打到 6 勝 21 敗，可能早就會做出立即改變
但 Lawrence Frank、Trent 、Mark 、Ballmer 老闆都選擇堅持原本的方向，完全相信我
們的教練團。
而我們就只是持續努力、一步一步往前走。所以現在我們走到了這裡。接下來我們還是必
須繼續打出好表現，我們正朝著正確的方向前進。」
